KNOW YOUR OFFER

Lifetime, a free period or a discount? Read the offer.

The headline is a starting point. The plan, duration and renewal terms tell you what you are actually getting.

Three offers can have very different meanings.

An offer might reduce the price of a subscription, provide free premium access for a fixed period, or unlock a one-time entitlement described as lifetime access. All can be useful. They are not interchangeable, and a large percentage by itself does not tell you which one you are looking at.

A discounted subscription.

Check the billing period as well as the amount. A first-year price is not necessarily the price of later years. Read whether the offer applies to a month, a year or another stated period, and what happens afterwards. Existing subscribers may have different eligibility from people trying an app for the first time.

Free for a period.

“Three months free” describes a duration, not necessarily a permanently free plan. Check whether payment begins after that period and whether the subscription renews automatically. The developer’s conditions and Apple’s confirmation screen are the places to verify those details. Do not assume a zero price means there is no future renewal.

Lifetime access.

A lifetime offer describes the specific access or entitlement the app developer provides. Read which features are included and whether there is any recurring payment. The word does not guarantee that the app will operate forever or that every separate service, future product or add-on is included.

The deadline and the benefit are separate.

The date an offer stops being listed is not the same thing as how long your access lasts after successful redemption. For example, an offer can be available to claim for a short campaign and grant a longer benefit. Always check both the claiming window and the access period.

One last check before Claim.

Read the plan, benefit duration, eligibility, region, final price and renewal conditions. OfferClub shows verified local prices when available; otherwise, check the price in the App Store. Choose an offer because the app and its terms make sense for you, not just because the headline is attractive.
